I would like to invite you to a conference in Bucharest on the subject of King Michael’s exile, based on documents that I unearthed in the ‘Securitate’ (Romanian communist secret police) archives.

The event is organised by the National History Museum of Romania and is scheduled to take place on Thursday 17 July2014, at 1 pm (entrance B, near Stavropoleos church, Postei street)
The Conference is envisaged as an educational effort to promoting the understanding of Romania’s recent history as reflected in formerly secret documents, sources revealing unexpected facets of history, of King Michael’s exile and the Romanian emigration after 1947.
